Florida State Football Got Screwed

Those vile, corrupt jackasses on the College Football Playoff Selection Committee who put one-loss Alabama into the championship series while leaving undefeated Florida State out are a disgrace.

The Power Five conferences have three undefeated teams. All three deserve to play for the national championship. Michigan EARNED a spot (if we ignore their cheating). Washington EARNED a spot. And Florida State EARNED a spot. Texas and Alabama each won their conference championships, but both have a loss. Because Alabama's loss was to Texas, Texas should get in over Alabama. Well, Texas is in. So the real question is why did Alabama get in over Florida State?

It makes no sense. Does what happens on the field mean nothing to the College Football Playoff Selection Committee??? That has never happened before. Never before has an undefeated Power Five team not gotten a berth in the top four to play for a Natty.

Oh, but Mike! It's different this year. Florida State ended the season with their third string quarterback! Yeah, and they won the conference championship anyway. And while people might say, "Yeah well, Brock Glenn sucked, it was the defense that won that game," they'd be correct. The Seminole defense did win that game. And Glenn did play poorly. But the team still won the game. And won the ACC Championship. And remained undefeated. And for the committee to pass them over for a team with a loss is a travesty of the highest degree.

Alabama absolutely, positively, does not belong in the final four playoffs. And Florida State absolutely, positively does belong there. But that's not what happened. Bama is in, and the Noles are out. And that is disgustingly unfair and atrocious. I went into detailed reasons why on today's radio show.
